Community Relations

The Community Relations Unit serves all divisions within the department, acting as a liaison to the media and assuring that accurate information is released in a clear and timely manner. In addition, the unit is responsible for "Slow the Flow," Pima County's Indoor Water Conservation Program. "Slow the Flow" provides free water conservation kits to the community and provides educational material about the sanitary sewerage system and the wastewater treatment process to schools, community events, and environmental fairs.
