Long-Range Capital Planning
Long-range Capital Planning is responsible for coordinating regulatory
compliance programs, developing long-range wastewater infrastructure
and effluent utilization plans, preparing the capital improvement
program, allocating project financing, and managing the department's
research efforts on constructed ecosystems and biosolids. The section
also coordinates department policy regarding water quality legislation
and regulations, and provides staff support for the:
Regional Wastewater Reclamation Advisory Committee
Arid West Water Quality
Research Project (AWWQRP)
(AWWQRP is a grant-funded program to research water quality criteria for arid and semi-arid environments.)
