Increase of Sewer User Fees and Sewer Connection Fees - Effective April 19, 2002

On March 19, 2002, the Pima County Board of Supervisors approved an increase in sewer user rates (PDF) and sewer connection fees (PDF). Monthly sewer service charges were increased by 3.8%. Sewer connection fees were increased by 12%.

In March, 2002, the average sewer bill in Pima County was $12.00. The increase raised the average bill to $12.49. Connection fees for the average new home in Pima County were $1292.80; the new rates raised that average to $1,448.00.

The rates took effect on April 19, 2002.
